Do you want to get a job' If so – then this course is for you! You will learn strategies to enable you to make an effective application for the job you are interested in.

This course will show you how to: Create a CV specifically for the job you want, understand recruitment adverts, search the web for jobs, complete an application form for a live job, identify your transferable skills, improve interview techniques, self presentation skills including personal presentation, update your functional skills in ICT, Literacy and Numeracy. You will also meet employers who will give you up to the minute information on the kind of qualities they look for in prospective employees and how they score your application form. The course resumes for those who want to progress to the Certificate qualification for pathways to Advanced Job Skills or Digital Arts Skills.
