On Tuesday 16 September, locals will at last have the chance to join The Cathedrals Express as it calls at Surbiton and makes its way, diesel hauled, to Westbury. At Westbury, a steam locomotive heads the train down one of the world's most scenic railways to Paignton and Kingswear. Passengers will be able to take a short ferry ride over the River Dart to explore the picturesque naval town of Dartmouth.

Tickets for this spectacular journey aboard The Cathedrals Express are still available in all four classes, ranging from £115 in Premium Standard through to the top class of Pullman Style Dining of £249 per person. Passengers travelling in Pullman Style will enjoy a two course champagne breakfast on the outward journey and a five course dinner on the return, whilst those opting for Premium Standard will be seated at tables of four in open carriages and served with complimentary tea and coffee at their seats.

For this special trip to Devon, The Cathedrals Express will also be picking up passengers at Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and Woking. Anyone interested in travelling on The Cathedrals Express should call the booking office on 01483 209888 or visit www.CathedralsExpress.co.uk.
