A SHARED HERITAGE

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is celebrating the unifying figure Prophet Abraham.

We would love you to come along!
The Ahmadi Muslim motto is ‘Love For All, Hatred For None’ and this event is part of our on-going campaign to promote peace, mutual understanding and tolerance.

During this current time of conflict, Prophet Abraham stands out as a unifying figure. He is the father of Judaism, Christians hold him in high esteem and for Muslims he is a venerated Prophet. The most important festival in the Muslim Calendar is Eid–ul–Adha, which is a celebration of the obedience of Prophet Abraham to the commands of God.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was established in the UK in 1913 and recently celebrated its centenary year. The Community regularly raises over £500,000 each year for the benefit of British charities. We also take part in raising funds for poppy appeals and feeding the poor.
