String players poster 3_1The cornerHOUSE is delighted to be hosting a Strings Workshop on Sunday 30th October, in partnership with Thames Concerts and Kingston Arts. Participants will receive one-to-one coaching from a professional player from the Lejeune String Trio, and perform a piece in a short concert at the end of the afternoon. The Trio will have been performing at St Andrew’s Surbiton on Saturday 15th October as part of the Thames Concert series (see http://www.thamesconcerts.com/)

The Workshop will run from 2-5pm.

The concert will run from 5.15 till 6pm.

The Workshop is open to all string players of Grade 3 standard and above (please supply confirmation of this from your teacher). Music stands will be provided for all participants. Applicants should send a deposit of £10 which is refundable on the day. Please contact Simon Hancock at simonhancock29@gmail.com in the first instance, and he will confirm availability and options for paying the deposit.

Entry for non-participants to observe the workshop and attend the performance is £5, payable on the door.
