Acclaimed multi-racial youth company MeWe present a workshop performance of their new play focusing attention on issues surrounding the abolition of the Transatlantic slave trade 200 years ago. Olaudah Equiano (c1745-1797), was a former slave, writer and campaigner. The play links both historic and contemporary action and highlights the impact of the legacy of slavery on young people today.
