Our fifth One Act Week at the cornerHOUSE. Eight new plays by local authors - four a night - on alternate nights at 7.45.
The play schedule and other details will be announced shortly.

To repeat the success of earlier One Act Weeks we need lots of actors and backstage volunteers.

CASTING: The plays are open to anyone who wants to audition for them.

AUDITIONS: On Tuesday, July 8 at 7.30 and on Saturday, July 12 at 2.

Actors must be prepared to audition for all plays. A synopsis and character breakdown will be supplied.

Preferences can be expressed but there will be no guarantees that that these will be met.

The auditions will take the form of workshops to give the actors the chance to display their skills in character portrayal.

The plays will be presented – four at a time – on either Monday 22, Wednesday 24, and Friday 26 or on Tuesday 23, Thursday 25 and Saturday 27. Cast members are encouraged to help backstage on the nights when they’re not performing.

Tickets: £8 for two nights (concessions £6) or £6 for one night (concessions £4). Box Office (020 8296 9012) opens on September 1.
