Barbie-cide

I really can't believe there have been no comments on the new nail bar on Victoria Road.

Turners might have been a rubbish jewellers, but they always maintained their beautiful shop frontage. But painting it Barbie pink. It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham. Whoever was responsible should be strung up from one of the new lampposts.

Is there a picture of this magical place?

Couldn't have out it better myself. Well done Kingston Council.

I called the planning department and they told me that the building isn't listed, so the owners are at liberty to paint it pink, purple or orange. However, it is in a so-called Conservation Area, whatever that means.

I have now written to the Lib Dems Focus Team to see if there is anything they can do short of going out under cover of darkness and repainting in black.
