Why dont you badger the council to allow up to a metre of green verged roads to be used as a means of widening our poor roads so that parking can be improved.A simple cut in would suffice thus leaving mature trees in place. The Sunray has some like this and it helps although now the buses are longer it needs more installed especially along the bus routes.

Currently we have chicanes and blind spots with K series buses weaving around, particularly along Raeburn, all so unecessary and as for Alexandra Road we also have pointless humps.

The car will not go away,it may change its power source but it will always be with us like death and taxes so lets learn to live with it and embrace it and bring our local roads into the 21st century.
