Charity foundation set up for Surbiton philanthropist

The £6.5m legacy of local resident creates the Erach and Roshan Sadri Foundation.

After many years as an active member of the Star and Garter Star Home as well as being ambassador for the British Forces Foundation, Roshan Sadri passed away last year at the age of 73 leaving a sizable estate. Though she died unexpectedly she had made it clear that she wanted the majority of her money to go to charity.

Long Ditton Village Fair

Long Ditton Village Fair takes place this year on Sunday 10th July at St Mary's School Long Ditton.

Its aim is to hold a yearly event to bring the whole community together and raise funds for local organisations and Charities.

Schools, Churches, Guids / Scouts, RSPCA and Kingston Hospital are just a few who benifit from this afternoon of fun.

This year as well as the normal attractions you would expect we have The Kingston and New Malden Marching Band, a display by Starletts Cheer leaders, Hinchley Wood ATC, a model railway, Clowns, Bouncy Castles and a whole lot more.
